Tackling the Blaze

This project focused on taking an article and designing it three spreads for a magazine. The article "Tackling the Blaze" focuses on Irish firefighters and how fire safety culture can be improved. Since the article focuses on safety culture, I was inspired by structure and straight lines to frame the article and split up the pages and sections. Also featured as extras to the article are small graphics of fire safety tips. The display type was inspired by safety tape and features a stencil effect. All non-photo images are vector graphics to help explain or highlight parts of the article.
